Full Job Description

Are you an experienced SPAB Certified, dedicated driver looking to make a difference in the lives of passengers? Do you take pride in ensuring safety, comfort, and exceptional service? If so, we want YOU to join and take part in our growing All-Star Team at SLO Safe Ride!

We are an established and quickly growing DOT ground transportation operator serving San Luis Obispo, California and beyond. We provide a variety of transportation services ranging from collegiate and high school athletics to local tours and weddings, servicemen & women transport, to federal contracts, one of which proudly serves our veterans.

We have a growing fleet of New, Clean, and Well Maintained equipment you can be proud of!

Part time positions available with potential to become full time.

Responsibilities:

Adhere to SPAB, CDL, and other relevant endorsements for passenger transportation
Safely transport passengers to and from designated locations
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring passenger satisfaction
Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
Ability to utilize mechanical knowledge to address any on-road issues promptly is a Plus!

Requirements:

SPAB certification
Clean Driving Record
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Drug Testing (Pre-Employment and Random Testing)
Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
Background Check (Pre-Employment)
Valid DOT medical
