Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Front Office Supervisor to support the daily operations of our Front Office team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences at our luxury hotel. This leadership role assists in overseeing the Front Desk, Reservations, Concierge, Bell/Valet, and Guest Services teams while ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, efficiency, and professionalism.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a luxury hospitality environment, enjoys developing high-performing teams, and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. This position also serves as Manager on Duty when assigned and plays a key role in supporting operational excellence across the Rooms Division.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk, Reservations, Concierge, and Bell/Valet departments.
Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, coaching, motivating, and developing team members while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Ensure all hotel service standards, policies, procedures, and luxury hospitality expectations are consistently followed.
Serve as Manager on Duty when assigned, responding to operational needs and guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Handle guest requests, complaints, and service recovery with confidence, discretion, and a commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction.
Communicate daily business levels, arrivals, departures, VIP guests, groups, and special requests to the team.
Conduct daily shift briefings and ongoing training to ensure consistency in service delivery.
Maintain room inventory, guest profiles, room assignments, and operational accuracy within the Property Management System.
Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Accounting, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Monitor the hotel lobby, front drive, and departmental areas to maintain cleanliness, presentation, and operational readiness.
Ensure compliance with hotel safety procedures, emergency protocols, and departmental standards.
Assist with scheduling, staffing levels, attendance documentation, and employee performance coaching.
Maintain departmental supplies, submit purchase requisitions, and coordinate maintenance work orders as needed.
Participate in operational meetings, revenue meetings, event meetings, and other leadership planning sessions.
Assist in maintaining and updating departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.

Qualifications

Required

2–3 years of Front Office experience in a luxury hotel, Forbes, Four/Five Diamond, or luxury boutique property, with previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong understanding of Front Office and Rooms Division operations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members.
Exceptional guest service, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred

College degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Experience with Opera Cloud Property Management System.
Experience with Spa Management software.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
