Full Job Description

Position Overview:

Villa Kali Ma is seeking a compassionate Clinical Supervisor. We are seeking a dynamic, team oriented and positive focused team member. The Clinical Supervisor will play a role in ensuring the delivery of the highest quality of treatment services that address the unique needs of women in recovery. This position will include collaborating and overseeing an integrative, holistic treatment approach that addresses the mind, body, and spirit while fostering healing and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Reviewer/ Supervisory

Oversee day-to-day clinical compliance/quality of all three programs, ensuring adherence to DHCS regulations and organizational policies.
May collaborate with CEO & COO to improve clinical curriculum and provide training to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across all programs.
Collaborate with facility managers to coordinate chart audits, client care, and state compliance to meet program needs.
Signs and audits all clinical documentation required by a clinical “reviewer” at all three locations.
Provide clinical supervision (under BBS standards) to all associates and graduate interns.

Clinical Support

Provide direct clinical support to therapists as needed, including conducting assessments, facilitating groups, and providing individual counseling when therapists are out.
Audit and train the clinical staff to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
Support clinical team members in maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with DSS, DHCS and The Joint Commission documentation requirements.
Provide training and supervision to clinical staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards in client care.
Oversight of pending or potential clients and their clinical appropriateness.
Peer to peer reviews as necessary.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

Foster a collaborative and supportive working environment among staff from various disciplines, including clinical, administrative, and support services.
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including referral sources, community organizations, and regulatory agencies, to promote coordinated care and community partnerships.
Ensuring HIPAA compliance by training staff on regulations, conducting regular audits, and managing any potential breaches.
Staying updated on legal and regulatory changes, overseeing staff adherence to privacy and security protocols, and acting as a point of contact for related issues and investigations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Education

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.

Experience

Licensed California Therapist (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent) with 5 years’ experience.
Good standing with BBS and BBS standards with a supervisory certification to oversee associates and interns.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a role within a behavioral health or substance abuse treatment setting, preferred.

Required Skills

Excellent clinical and supervisory skills, with the ability to oversee multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Commitment to cultural competence, equity, and inclusion in client care and program operations.

Certifications required:

First Aid/CPR certification
Proof of Negative TB test
Health Screen Certificate
Valid Class "C" Driver’s License
