Full Job Description

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented Tailor / Seamstress to join our growing alteration shop located at Camp Pendleton.

You'll work on a variety of everyday clothing alterations and military uniform alterations, helping our customers achieve the best fit through quality craftsmanship and professional service.

Whether your experience comes from a dry cleaner, alteration shop, bridal shop, clothing retailer, apparel production, or your own tailoring business, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Perform clothing and military uniform alterations
Complete garment repairs and common alterations with accuracy
Operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently
Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
Assist customers with alteration requests when needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

Tailoring
Seamstress work
Clothing alterations
Military uniform alterations
Garment repair
Industrial sewing
Jacket and pants alterations
Hemming
Waist adjustments
Tapering
Zipper replacement
Bridal or formal wear alterations
Apparel production

Military uniform experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

Comfortable operating industrial sewing machines
Able to complete alteration work independently
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Reliable, dependable, and professional
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license required (required for Camp Pendleton access and background screening)
