Full Job Description

Capstone Security, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Site Manager to oversee our security operations team at a retail shopping center property. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supervisory roles, a strong commitment to safety, and exceptional customer service skills. This position is critical to maintaining the safety and security of our clients and ensuring the highest standards of professionalism within our team. This is an unarmed, uniformed post.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Security Operations: Lead and manage a team of unarmed security personnel, ensuring they adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and professional development to security staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Incident Management: Oversee and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Prepare detailed reports for management review.
Client Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, addressing their security needs and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
Scheduling and Staffing: Manage team schedules and ensure all shifts are fully covered at all times, including weekends and holidays. Reduce the impact of overtime on personnel and company costs.
Availability: Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to adjust hours—including evenings, weekends, and holidays—based on site or employee needs, and to respond to the site on short notice as needed.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding unarmed security operations. Regularly review and update security protocols to maintain the highest safety standards.
Operational Support: Assist in the development and implementation of security strategies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations for security personnel, providing feedback and guidance to improve overall team performance.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in a security operations role, preferably in a retail or commercial property environment.
Certification: Must hold a valid BSIS Guard Card and any other required state certifications.
Driving Record: Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team building and professional development.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and responding to emergencies.
Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
