SENIOR ENTERTAINMENT ACCOUNT MANAGER

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Entertainment Account Manager to join our Account Management team. In this role, you will specialize in Corporate Events, Touring/Concerts, TV & Film, Special Events, and Festivals — serving as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring their event lighting needs are not only met but exceeded.

This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can seamlessly navigate event lighting design, staff deployment, delivery logistics, and overall project oversight. The ideal candidate thrives under tight deadlines, adapts quickly to last-minute demands, and embraces the ongoing learning that comes with a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Interaction

Answer initial client inquiries and serve as the primary point of contact for all event lighting needs.
Coordinate with clients to understand specific requirements regarding lighting design, layout, equipment, and budget.
Maintain strong, ongoing relationships to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

Quoting & Inventory Management

Utilize Flex, the company’s inventory management system, to create accurate and timely client quotes.
Collaborate with Asset Management and other company locations to confirm equipment availability for specified dates.
Initiate sub-rental orders as needed to fulfill client demands.

Production Coordination

Coordinate client production and labor requirements from booking through event completion.
Generate purchase orders for sub-rentals, labor, and intercompany transfer orders.
Communicate project scope, timelines, and client expectations clearly to internal production teams.

Operational Efficiency

Coordinate change orders and last-minute gear updates with the Operations and Transportation teams.
Act as liaison between Operations and clients in cases of missing gear, delayed delivery, or last-minute event requests.

Logistics & Delivery

Coordinate equipment delivery schedules with the Transportation Manager.
Ensure timely and efficient delivery to meet client expectations and event deadlines.

Financial Management

Create and deliver final invoices to clients upon event completion, based on actual gear and labor utilized.
Ensure pricing strategies support company profitability while meeting client expectations.
Review and reconcile project costs against quotes to identify variances.

General Responsibilities

Contribute to the overall success of the Account Management team through collaboration and shared best practices.
Adapt to evolving industry trends and provide insights to improve service offerings.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Theatre, Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
2+ years of experience in production, account management, or project coordination in the entertainment industry preferred.
Strong understanding of event lighting equipment, workflows, and terminology.
Proficient in inventory and production management systems; experience with Flex strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across a wide range of personalities.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong database and inventory management skills.
Diplomatic and composed in handling client relationships under pressure.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Transportation, and Asset Management.

Schedule & Working Conditions

Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, with weekend availability as needed based on event schedules.
Mix of office and on-site event work; client-facing interactions are a regular part of this role.
Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, quick turnarounds, and comfort with evolving demands.
