Millie's under NEW MANAGEMENT, a restaurant in Priest Lake is looking to hire a Dining Manager for an immediate start! Housing available for the right candidates!!!!

Overview

As a Fine Dining Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring impeccable service, outstanding food quality, and a welcoming atmosphere. Your energetic approach and dedication to excellence will inspire your team to deliver top-tier hospitality while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a sophisticated dining environment, foster team growth, and elevate guest satisfaction through your expertise and passion for the food industry.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to high standards of food safety and hospitality.
Manage staff training and development, including interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to cultivate a motivated and skilled team.
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to uphold the restaurant’s fine dining reputation.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy.
Control inventory levels, monitor food costs, and implement effective stock management practices to optimize profitability.
Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels, and ensure proper coverage during peak hours for exceptional customer service.
Conduct regular food safety audits, supervise kitchen operations, and enforce sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction strategies.
Foster a positive team environment through leadership in training & development initiatives and effective managerial communication.
Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction remains at the forefront of all operations.

Experience

Proven management experience within fine dining establishments or upscale restaurants with a strong background in hospitality management.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary standards, and kitchen management practices.
Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems for sales processing and reporting.
Prior experience supervising staff in fast-paced environments like casual dining or banquet settings is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety protocols, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to train staff effectively while fostering leadership qualities among team members.
Background in managing hospitality teams with a focus on customer service excellence and operational efficiency.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation procedures.
