Full Job Description

Advance Physical Therapy's medical massage therapy department is expanding. Are you looking to grow your clientele? We are partnering with massage therapists in our community that are looking to grow their clientele and work independently with our clients in their own massage studios located around Sandpoint, ID. If you are compassionate and interested in medical massage or treatments to help with pain management and you're looking to grow your clientele, we would love to meet you. We are looking for a therapist that can treat a minimum of 8-14 of our clients per week. Ideal candidate would be a therapist wanting to start their own clinic but wants the security of knowing they will have a consistent referral base and admin to perform all insurance billing for their clients. Candidate must have a current Idaho massage therapy license and individual insurance coverage. Must be willing to work with our credentialing department to establish billing requirements for health insurance within 30 days of hire. Must be willing to complete electronic medical records for each client.

```Duties```
- Perform therapeutic massage therapy treatments in your personal clinic in the Sandpoint area to address clients' specific needs and preferences. You determine your schedule to fit your needs.
- Assess clients' conditions and medical history to determine appropriate massage techniques
- Provide acute and chronic pain management through various massage modalities, including light and deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists and physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments to identify areas of concern and develop targeted treatment strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records of client progress, treatment plans and insurance billing. Willing to train.

```Experience```
- Minimum of [1] years of experience as a licensed massage therapist preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and their therapeutic applications
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction

Skills:
- Acute pain management: ability vary treatment based on acuity of injury
- Deep tissue massage as needed
- Physical examinations to determine appropriate treatment plan
- Myofascial release techniques
-Computer skills and basic knowledge of medical documentation using SOAP format.

-Ability to modify treatment position based on patients' injuries and physical limitation
-Patient assessment to determine appropriate treatment

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
