This is physically demanding, hands-on construction work. Applicants must be able to perform the essential duties of the assigned position, with reasonable accommodation when applicable.
Applicants must be able to:
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently
- Assist with team lifting of heavier or oversized materials
- Stand and remain physically active for extended periods
- Bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb, push, pull, dig, and carry
- Walk and work across active, uneven, muddy, or unfinished job sites
- Repeatedly load, unload, move, and stage construction materials
- Use shovels, post-hole diggers, hand tools, and authorized power tools
- Work indoors and outdoors in changing temperatures and weather conditions
- Work around dust, dirt, noise, tools, vehicles, and construction equipment
- Wear required personal protective equipment
- Maintain a safe and productive work pace throughout the shift
POSITION OVERVIEW
Forge North, an ASAP Services Inc. company, and our construction partners are hiring skilled construction workers and entry-level general laborers.
Our projects cover a broad range of construction and property-support work. Assignments may include concrete slabs, framing, siding, fencing, post-hole digging, equipment operation, demolition, property repairs, material handling, job-site support, construction cleanup, and other general construction duties.
Some positions require proven construction skills. Other positions are available for applicants who may not have construction experience but can arrive on time, take instruction, work safely, and consistently complete assigned tasks.
Pay depends on experience, demonstrated ability, qualifications, reliability, and assigned responsibilities.
Qualified applicants who complete onboarding and can begin work immediately may be eligible for an immediate-start hiring bonus. Eligibility, amount, and payment terms will be provided in writing.
SKILLED CONSTRUCTION POSITIONS
Skilled applicants may be assigned work involving:
- Concrete slab preparation, placement, and finishing
- Form setting and removal
- Reinforcement and vapor-barrier installation
- Site preparation, grading, and base preparation
- Framing and carpentry
- Siding installation
- Fence layout and installation
- Setting posts, gates, panels, and fencing materials
- Post-hole layout, digging, and auger operation
- Equipment operation
- Demolition and removal
- Construction installation and repair work
- Property repair and maintenance projects
- Punch-list completion
- Job-site coordination
- Crew leadership or skilled crew support
- Other verified construction trades or specialized fieldwork
Skilled applicants should identify:
- Years of construction experience
- Specific trades and areas of experience
- Concrete and slab-work experience
- Framing experience
- Siding experience
- Fence installation and post-setting experience
- Equipment they are trained and qualified to operate
- Hand tools and power tools they can safely use
- Licenses or certifications
- Work they can complete independently
- Experience leading or supporting a construction crew
Equipment operators must have appropriate experience and may be required to demonstrate safe operating ability before receiving an assignment.
ENTRY-LEVEL GENERAL LABOR POSITIONS
Previous construction experience is not required for every opening.
Entry-level general laborers must be able to show up on time, follow instructions, perform physical work, maintain consistent effort, and work safely as part of a crew.
General labor assignments may include:
- Digging post holes by hand
- Using manual post-hole diggers
- Assisting with powered post-hole equipment when trained and authorized
- Carrying, staging, and setting fence posts
- Assisting fence installers
- Moving fence panels, rails, gates, and materials
- Assisting framing crews
- Carrying and staging lumber
- Assisting siding crews
- Moving and staging siding materials
- Supporting concrete slab preparation and pours
- Moving forms, reinforcement, and concrete materials
- Loading and unloading tools, supplies, and equipment
- Shoveling, raking, sweeping, lifting, and carrying
- Site preparation and basic grading support
- Demolition and debris removal
- Job-site setup and breakdown
- Material sorting and organization
- Construction cleaning and final project preparation
- Assisting with property repairs and maintenance work
- Protecting finished surfaces and surrounding property
- Keeping tools and materials organized
- Completing other general construction and job-site duties as assigned

Training and task-specific instruction will be provided when appropriate. Employees may only operate specialized tools or equipment after receiving authorization and any required training.
ADDITIONAL PROJECT SUPPORT
Depending on project needs, employees may also support:
- General building repairs
- Exterior property work
- Commercial and residential construction projects
- Property maintenance and improvement projects
- Material deliveries and job-site staging
- Demolition and removal work
- Post-construction cleanup
- Final project preparation
- Flood, fire, or restoration-related construction support when assigned through the appropriate ASAP Services Inc. division
- Other construction and property-support services performed by ASAP Services Inc. and its project partners

SCHEDULE & ASSIGNMENTS
Construction schedules and work locations may vary based on project requirements, deadlines, weather, and the stage of construction.
Applicants must provide accurate availability. Some projects may require early start times, extended workdays, or schedule adjustments.
Employees will receive an authorized reporting time and job-site location. Work may not begin before the authorized start time or continue outside the approved schedule.
COMPENSATION
- Pay depends on experience, qualifications, demonstrated ability, and assigned responsibilities.
- Skilled applicants may qualify for higher starting pay.
- Entry-level applicants may be considered for training and advancement opportunities.
- Overtime will be handled according to applicable wage and hour requirements.
- An immediate-start hiring bonus may be available to qualified applicants.
