Office Manager

For over 40 years Ship Shape Marine Inc. has earned a reputation of being a quality driven organization with one of a kind customer service to satisfy the discriminating yachtsmen. Our dedicated personnel offers expert services including fiberglass reconstruction, painting, detailing, wood refinishing and osmosis repair. We are seeking an officer manager to join our team in providing a great customer experience.

Office Manager Job Responsibilities:

Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff.
General accounting: Processing accounts receivable and payables, invoicing, bank statement reconciliation in Quickbooks, filing taxes on Ohio Business Gateway.
Oversees sending storage contracts, estimates.
Human resources: preparing payroll, managing benefits.
Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments.
Completes operational requirements by assisting managers.
Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

[Work Hours & Benefits]

Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Full benefits available: holiday pay, vacation time, health insurance, matching contribution to IRA.

Pay: commensurate with experience

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Two to three years’ experience in an office setting manager
Proficient with office software

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
