Retina Associates of Cleveland, Inc.
New Facility Opening April 2026

Retina Associates of Cleveland, Inc., one of Ohio's largest private Ophthalmic practices is expanding and opening a brand-new Retina facility in April 2026. We are currently seeking 2-3 part time or full time Ophthalmic Technicians to join our growing team.

Scheduling:

The office will be open three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. During alternating weeks, it will be open for four days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Please note that travel will be necessary each week if full time status is desired. If additional hours are needed to maintain full time status (30+ hrs), hours can be scheduled at our nearby offices in Lorain or Westlake.

Positions will begin in March 2026, with paid training provided at our Lorain and Westlake locations prior to the opening of the new office.

Position Overview

Ophthalmic Technicians play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, patient-focused retina practice. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced technicians and motivated individuals looking to start a career in ophthalmology.

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting physicians with patient examinations and procedures
Performing diagnostic testing (OCT, fundus photography, visual acuity, etc.)
Obtaining patient histories and documenting clinical information
Preparing exam rooms and patients
Delivering compassionate, professional patient care

Qualifications:

Prior ophthalmic or medical experience preferred, but not required
Willingness to learn and train in a clinical setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Certification (COA/COT/COMT) a plus, but not required
