What You’ll Do: As an ILP Pro Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to young learners (elementary grades 1-6) in a classroom setting. You’ll follow a set curriculum designed to foster fun and interactive learning. You will also support students’ language development through activities, games, songs, and lessons that inspire them to develop a love for learning English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English to children using an established curriculum
- Create and implement lesson plans that are engaging and age-appropriate
- Promote a positive, fun, and effective learning environment
- Collaborate with local staff and other teachers
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, including cultural events and excursions
- Manage classroom behavior and encourage active participation
- Assist students in developing their English language skills through songs, games, and fun activities
- Grade homework, create progress reports for parents, and other classroom administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field (must have completed a 4-year degree program)
- At least 20 years of Age
- Passionate & Dedicated to teaching and making a difference in students' lives
- Flexible & Adaptable – ability to adjust to a new cultural environment
- No Teaching Experience Required! We provide comprehensive training to help you succeed in the classroom
- Ability to commit to a one-year contract (starting in October 2026) Some past teachers enjoyed their teaching experience so much that they extended twice and stayed three years!
- Thai language skills are not required. In ILP classes, children learn English similarly to how they acquired their native language, through experience and interaction with a native speaker. Since teachers speak only in English while teaching, you do not need to be able to speak Thai. However, our schools would be happy to connect you with resources to learn the language to further enrich your personal experience in Thailand.
Preferred:
- Experience working with children (teaching, babysitting, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
- Interest in learning about new cultures and travel
