You hit your numbers. Your clients stick around. People ask for you by name. And somewhere along the way, that got you either a title with more admin and less client time, or just a pat on the back and nothing else — while you kept babysitting coaches who show up late and repeat whatever fitness myth they heard in a group chat without ever checking if it's true.

You're not tired of selling. You're good at it. You're tired of a ceiling — hitting your numbers and never getting more freedom, more pay, or more say in how the floor actually runs. You're tired of being told exactly which program, which modality, which 6-week challenge to push, even when you know your client needs something else to keep progressing.

And you're tired of the schedule. 5am open, dead hours, back in at 4pm — 12 hours of your day to get paid for 4.

We built this studio for the coach who outgrew all of that — not the one who just wants to escape it.

First — who this is NOT for:

You hate selling and just want to disappear into a back room and train people quietly. We do sell — upsells, referral asks, review requests, the normal relationship-driven selling that comes from actually caring about client outcomes. If that concept alone makes you cringe, save us both the time.
You're looking for a softer landing spot — better hours, less pressure, an "easier" job. We move fast, we hold a high bar, and we expect the people around us to carry their weight.
You'd rather check social media or play a game on your phone than call a prospect back.
You get your exercise ideas from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Snapchat rather than from an actual education or evidence base.
You want to train bodybuilders, CrossFitters, or Hyrox athletes. That's not what we do here, and it's not what our clients need.
You can't hold a conversation for more than 10 seconds without slipping into internet slang. You'll be building trust with adults who need to feel confident in you — how you communicate is part of the job.

Who this IS for:

You may already have some added responsibility at your current gym — head trainer, lead coach, shift lead, something beyond "just" training — though this isn't a requirement, just something we tend to see in the coaches who fit here. If that's you, you're probably good at the leadership side but miss being in the trenches with clients.
You've got the numbers to back it up: strong retention, consistent referrals, a track record corporate has actually noticed.
You get frustrated by teammates who coast, and more frustrated by management that clips your wings the moment you try to build something better.
You fact-check what you coach. You don't repeat something just because another trainer said it with confidence — you actually know why you're programming what you're programming.
You genuinely love working with older adults, and you want to keep doing that — not use it as a stepping stone toward CrossFit or bodybuilding-prep coaching.
About 1 year of personal training experience minimum, most likely from a big-box environment (EOS Fitness, F45, VASA, StretchLab, or similar) — you know exactly what you're leaving behind.
A Bachelor's degree, ideally in a health science field (exercise science, kinesiology, etc.).

What we offer

We hand coaches ownership over real initiatives — programming systems, mentoring newer trainers, running internal projects — tied to actual increases in pay and title. If you're the kind of person who gets restless without something to build, we'll give you something to build.

Fair upside on the selling you're already good at. Referrals, reviews, upsells — you'll still do this, because it's part of building real client relationships. What changes is the ceiling: no quota-driven cold prospecting off the gym floor, and no income that swings month to month based on a commission percentage.

A schedule that respects your life. No bookend shifts. No 12-hour days to get paid for 4 hours of actual training.

Full-time, salaried pay. Compensation: $35,000–$38,000/year once you're through onboarding, with pay tied to your proficiency level as you progress. Onboarding starts at $15/hour while you complete Level 1 training. This is proficiency-based, not time-based — once you've demonstrated you're at our bar of excellence, your pay moves up. Most coaches move through Level 1 in a couple of weeks — how quickly is entirely up to you.
