Personal Trainer (Salaried, No Sales, Benefits)

TL;DR: We pay you a stable salary to coach great clients. No sales. Predictable hours. Real benefits.

Role: Personal Trainer/Coach (Private + 2–4 person Semi-Private)
Pay: $36k–$42k salary

The Offer (what you get)

Clients supplied. You coach; we handle leads & sales.
Stable schedule. Fixed weekly shifts (examples 6–2, 8–4, 10–6/7).
Predictable workload. 25–35 coaching hrs/wk + paid time for programs & client follow-ups. (once past the first 3-4 weeks of training/onboarding)
W-2 security. Not 1099.
Real benefits. 10 days PTO (grows annually), 401(k), dental, vision, CE credits, gym perks, paid development.
Autonomy + support. You make floor decisions; we provide systems, feedback, and a collaborative team.
Flex rules. If a client cancels, leave early or do back-end work from home.

What you’ll do:

Run high-quality private & semi-private sessions (3-4 people) with personalized programming.
Adjust on the fly (progress/regress, pain-aware modifications).
Follow up (quick check-ins, celebrate wins, ask for reviews).
Document cleanly so any coach can step in and client care never dips.
Contribute to a positive, professional culture.

Must-haves (non-negotiables)

PT cert (or actively pursuing) + CPR/AED.
1+ year training yourself consistently (“time under the bar”).
Can lift 100 lbs confidently.
Show up on time, communicate clearly, play well with others.
Comfortable working within Mon–Fri 6a–7p, Sat 8a–2p (you’ll have fixed shifts; one Saturday/month).

Onboarding & schedule

Onboarding: 3–4 weeks of paid, hands-on training specifically for our aging clientele (50–80+)—you’ll learn our approach to balance, mobility, tempo, pain-aware progressions, and clear communication. Start with 1:1s, then ramp to semi-privates with feedback.
You’ll have fixed weekly shifts we set together.
