Marketing Admin – Part-Time

Reports directly to: Marketing Specialist

Position Type: Part-Time with potential for growth into a full-time position

Lumien Lighting is a fast-growing landscape lighting manufacturer based in Marietta, GA. We’re passionate about designing high-quality products, building lasting relationships with our partners, and creating a brand experience that reflects the quality and innovation of our products.

We’re looking for a motivated, creative, and highly organized Marketing Admin to join our team in a part-time capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student nearing graduation or an early-career marketing professional looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing. As Lumien Lighting continues to grow, there is potential for this position to develop into a full-time role with expanded responsibilities.

Summary of Position

The Marketing Admin supports the Marketing team with the day-to-day execution and organization of Lumien Lighting’s marketing initiatives. This role will gain hands-on experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, events, brand management, and general marketing administration.

The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. They should be comfortable taking directions while also showing initiative and bringing new ideas to the table. This position offers the opportunity to work on real-world marketing projects and develop a broad range of skills within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

Create, schedule, and manage content across Lumien Lighting’s social media platforms while maintaining an organized content calendar.
Assist with photography, video, graphics, product visuals, and other marketing content.
Monitor engagement, track basic performance metrics, and stay current on social media trends and best practices.

Brand & Marketing Support

Support online and offline marketing campaigns and the creation of flyers, graphics, newsletters, presentations, videos, and other promotional materials.
Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing communications and creative assets.
Conduct basic market and competitor research and maintain organized digital marketing files and assets.

Event Support

Assist with the planning and execution of trade shows, Customer Summit, webinars, product launches, and other company events.
Coordinate event materials, promotional items, vendors, guest lists, shipping, and other logistical needs.
Support event setup, tracking, and post-event follow-up, including leads, feedback, and performance metrics.

Email & Digital Marketing

Assist with creating and scheduling newsletters, product announcements, event communications, and other email campaigns.
Maintain campaign assets and contact lists while monitoring basic email performance.
Review digital communications for accuracy, brand consistency, and professionalism.

Marketing Administration

Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Marketing team.
Maintain marketing calendars, project lists, shared files, collateral, promotional materials, and departmental resources.
Coordinate with internal departments to keep marketing projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with company initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Photography or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and learning new software and digital platforms.
Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Genuine interest in marketing, branding, social media, and content creation.
Portfolio or examples of previous creative, social media, design, or marketing work.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous internship, part-time, school, or volunteer experience involving marketing, social media, communications, events, or content creation.
Experience creating social media content for a business, organization, school, club, or personal brand.
Basic product and lighting photography, graphic design, or video editing skills.
Familiarity with social media analytics or email marketing platforms.
