The D2D Experts is the leading training and development company for the door-to-door sales industry. Founded by Sam Taggart — the #1 Vivint sales rep out of 3,000 — we've trained over 60,000 sales reps and partnered with 750+ businesses across solar, roofing, pest control, alarms, HVAC, and fiber. Our ecosystem includes online certification programs, business coaching, and D2DCon — the largest door-to-door sales conference in the world.

We're scaling our media presence and need a Social Media Manager who operates like a director — someone who keeps the machine running, the calendar full, and the team moving.

Role Overview

You run the content operation. That means the calendar is always planned, the editors always have work in queue, the designers are never waiting on direction, and nothing falls through the cracks. You're not here to brainstorm brand voice or sit in strategy sessions — you're here to make sure content gets made and gets out the door, every single day, across every channel.

You'll work directly with the CMO and Creative Director, who set the strategy. Your job is to execute against it with zero gaps.

YouTube (9 channels): D2D Experts, Sam Taggart, Roofing, Solar, Lighting, Fiber, Pest Control, Windows, Alarms

Instagram (3 accounts): @thed2dexperts, @thesamtaggart, @d2dcon

Facebook (3 pages): The D2D Experts, Sam Taggart, D2DCon

Weekly Output Targets

126 YouTube Shorts (18/day across 9 channels)
4–5 YouTube long-form videos
21 YouTube Community posts
42–63 Instagram Reels across 3 accounts
9 Instagram Carousels
21+ Story sequences across Instagram and Facebook

Core Responsibilities

Calendar Ownership The content calendar is your responsibility. It is always full, always planned at least 4 weeks out, and every team member knows exactly what they need to produce and when. You identify gaps before they happen and fill them. Nothing gets to the publishing date without being ready.

Driving Editors & Designers You manage the production queue. Editors always have footage to cut. Designers always have briefs to execute. You follow up, you hold deadlines, and you escalate when something is at risk of slipping. You are not waiting on people — people are waiting on you.

Content Capture & Filming You're on-site filming throughout the day — events, team moments, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content. You anticipate what needs to be captured, set up shots, and execute without being directed. Footage gets organized and handed off to editors with clear context so they can turn it around fast.

Publishing All content goes live on time, every day, across all 15 channels. You own formatting and optimization for each platform — thumbnails, captions, hashtags, links, timing. Nothing gets missed.

Performance Tracking You maintain a daily tracking sheet and deliver a weekly report on what's performing and what isn't. You're not just logging numbers — you're flagging what needs to change and bringing that to the Creative Director.

Profile & Platform Management All profiles are current — bios, links, branding. You stay on top of algorithm and platform changes so publishing strategy adjusts before it becomes a problem.

What Success Looks Like

The calendar is never empty. Editors are never idle. Posts never go up late. You'll be measured on three things:

Output consistency — Every piece of content goes live on time, every day, no exceptions.

Production accountability — Editors and designers are hitting their deadlines because you're actively managing them.

Reporting reliability — Leadership has accurate, timely data to make decisions.

Qualifications

Required:

4+ years managing social media accounts at a brand, agency, or media company
Hands-on filming and content capture experience — comfortable with cameras, phones, and basic lighting in the field
Proven track record managing editors, designers, or other content producers and holding them to deadlines
Deep familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook publishing workflows
Extremely organized — you run the calendar, not the other way around
Reliable and accountable — you own your deadlines and your team's output

Preferred:

Experience in B2B, sales training, coaching, or home services industries
Familiarity with short-form video trends (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style content)
Graphic design capability in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
Basic social media analytics knowledge (reach, impressions, engagement, CTR)

Team Structure

You'll report to the CMO and work alongside:

Creative Director — sets content direction; you execute against it
Video Editing Team — you manage their queue and hold them to deadlines
Designers — you brief them and keep them moving

Pay: $48,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
