For Registered Interns in particular, this position can provide a valuable bridge between graduate education and independent clinical practice by combining direct client experience, structured supervision, case consultation, professional development, and exposure to private-practice operations.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES:
1. Children, Adolescents & Family Therapist
Ideal candidates will have a genuine interest in working with children, adolescents, parents, and families. Experience or interest in play-based interventions, attachment, family systems, trauma-informed care, behavioral concerns, parenting support, emotional regulation, and developmental issues is highly valued.
2. Individual / Couples & Relationship Therapist
Clinicians may work with adults and/or adolescents presenting with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, stress, identity development, family-of-origin concerns, and personal growth. This would also include clinicians interested in developing or expanding their work with couples, marriages, premarital relationships, communication difficulties, attachment injuries, conflict, trust concerns, relationship restoration, and family systems.
Experience with or interest in EFT, Gottman Method, attachment-based treatment, experiential approaches, and relationship restoration work is particularly valuable.
We are also seeking clinicians interested in developing or expanding their work with couples, marriages, premarital relationships, communication difficulties, attachment injuries, conflict, trust concerns, relationship restoration, and family systems.
Experience with or interest in EFT, Gottman Method, attachment-based treatment, experiential approaches, and relationship restoration work is particularly valuable.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Tree of Life clinician, responsibilities may include:
- Conducting individual, couples, family, child, adolescent, and/or group counseling based upon your assigned clinical population
- Completing intake assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Implementing evidence-based and integrative therapeutic interventions appropriate to client needs
- Maintaining accurate, timely, professional clinical documentation
- Monitoring treatment progress and adjusting treatment goals and interventions when clinically indicated
- Participating in weekly clinical supervision or consultation
- Consulting with supervisors and other clinicians regarding complex cases
- Collaborating with families, physicians, schools, social workers, and other healthcare or community professionals when appropriate and authorized
- Participating in case conceptualization and treatment-planning discussions
- Attending professional development opportunities, workshops, clinical trainings, and team meetings
- Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards
- Demonstrating sensitivity and respect toward clients from diverse cultural, spiritual, relational, and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Contributing positively to a supportive and collaborative clinical team

Comfortable with faith integration. You do not need to use Christian counseling with every client, but you should be comfortable working within a faith-based organization and respectfully integrating a client's Christian faith or spiritual values when requested and clinically appropriate.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should possess:
- A completed graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Counselor Education, or another qualifying behavioral-health discipline
AND/OR
- Current Florida clinical licensure or Registered Intern status appropriate to the position
Candidates completing or holding a PhD, PsyD, or other relevant doctoral degree are also encouraged to apply when their education, training, and professional status meet the requirements of the position.
Additional preferred qualifications include:
- Experience working with children, adolescents, couples, or families
- Experience in outpatient or private-practice mental health settings
- Training in trauma-informed treatment
- Familiarity with attachment-based or family-systems approaches
- Training or interest in EFT, IFS, Gottman Method, Play Therapy, Sand Tray, CBT, DBT, or experiential approaches
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to complete clinical documentation professionally and efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to receive clinical feedback and incorporate supervision into practice
- Commitment to professional ethics, client confidentiality, and appropriate clinical boundaries
