QC Lab Technician (GMP/Sample Management)

Russell Tobin is hiring a Quality Control Analyst to join a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing and quality team.

We are seeking a detail-oriented laboratory professional to support quality control operations, sample management, and GMP laboratory services. This 12-month contract opportunity is ideal for recent science graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in a regulated GMP laboratory environment.

Responsibilities Include:

Support QC laboratory operations, including sample handling, deliveries, shipments, and inventory management.
Operate laboratory equipment such as autoclaves and parts washers while maintaining laboratory supplies.
Perform aliquoting of production materials using aseptic techniques in a Biological Safety Cabinet (BSC).
Complete GMP documentation while following SOPs and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely sample processing and laboratory support.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline required.
0+ years of industry experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of GMP, laboratory safety, and regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interpret detailed procedures and lift up to 80 lbs with assistance.

Important Details:

Employment Type: 12-month Contract opportunity.
Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch).
Location: Holly Springs, NC — 100% On-site.
Pay Range: $25.00–$28.00 per hour.
Additional Requirements: Seasonal flu vaccination required (provided on-site after assignment begins).
