Full Job Description

A rapidly growing Aerospace company is actively looking for enthusiastic & responsible Deburr Operator. Our company provides a wide variety of services for the aerospace industry and our employees are required to have broad knowledge & experience in the precision machining trade.

Basic Duties:

Responsible for finishing high-quality, detail parts
Responsible for the final finishing of all parts, pieces and components coming out of our CNC machining areas
Inspect and compare raw materials and manufactured components to a template
Responsible for setting up and operating machinery that grinds, smooths and buffs mass-produced parts
Grinding and removing excess material from surfaces during the post-production process
Utilize hand tools, small power tools and various grinding equipment
Utilize measuring equipment such as gauges, scales, calipers, etc
Inspect part dimensions to ensure part adhere to blueprint specifications and identify any quality issues
Read and interpret blueprints to verify configuration meets requirements
Perform other tasks as directed by Supervision/Management

Basic Requirements:

Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Able to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
Computer numerically controlled (CNC) tool programming
Perform First Article Inspection, including molds and segment inspection as required
Perform complete inspection of parts
Properly complete dimensional inspection reports

Education & Experience:

High School education or equivalent
Must possess basic computer skills
Minimum 1 year of work experience for deburring, grinding, or machining metal items

Other Requirements:

Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals;
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
Communicate effectively with subordinates and management at all levels;
Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times.

FULL-Time position of 8-12 hrs Mon-Fri with Sat optional

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
