Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Content Director to lead our content strategy and creative initiatives across multiple platforms. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, execution, and management of compelling content that elevates our brand presence, engages our target audiences, and drives measurable results. We are a growing Cannabis Brand in California that needs a strong, experienced director to push our brand to it's limits while staying fully compliant.This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to shape the voice of our brand and influence our digital footprint on a global scale.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that support brand positioning, audience engagement, and lead generation across digital channels including websites, social media, email marketing, and e-commerce platforms
Lead the creation of diverse content types such as videos, photography, infographics, and social media campaigns to ensure consistency in tone and messaging
Manage content calendars and oversee the production process from concept through publication, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of quality
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and videography/editing tools to produce visually appealing graphics and videos that enhance storytelling
Coordinate social media marketing efforts across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to boost engagement and brand awareness
Monitor industry trends in digital marketing, content marketing, B2B marketing, and e-commerce to keep strategies innovative and competitive

Requirements

Proven experience in creating content with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful content campaigns across multiple channels
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro for video editing, as well as photography skills for creating original visual assets
Strong knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms for website management and updates
Experience developing comprehensive content strategies aligned with business objectives and target audience insights
Excellent copywriting skills with an eye for editing detail to ensure clarity and consistency in messaging
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite), email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and marketing automation software
Ability to analyze data from Google Analytics or similar tools to measure campaign effectiveness and inform future initiatives
Knowledge of digital marketing trends including videography, graphic design, white papers creation, B2B marketing tactics, and e-commerce integration
