Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this pivotal role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and foster a positive work environment. Duties

Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery
Supervise and motivate staff, including training new team members and conducting ongoing development to enhance performance
Manage shift schedules, monitor staffing levels, and ensure adequate coverage for all service periods
Oversee food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety protocols to maintain quality standards
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a memorable dining experience for guests
Control inventory levels, manage food ordering, and oversee food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize costs
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
Support catering, such as online order like door dash, uber eats , grubhub

Requirements

Proven experience in food service management with a strong background in restaurant operations or hospitality management
Supervising experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments with a focus on team management and training & development
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards (including HACCP)
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
Strong leadership qualities with experience in interviewing, staff training, and performance management
Ability to manage shift schedules, control budgets, and oversee food production processes effectively
Ability to preform fast and efficiently in a fast past environment.
Experience with inventory control, food handling procedures, and catering operations is highly desirable
