About Clear Start Tax Relief:

Clear Start Tax Relief is a growing tax resolution company helping individuals and businesses resolve tax issues with the IRS and state taxing authorities.

We are looking for an entry-level Tax Investigation Assistant to support our Investigation Department. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, comfortable working on a computer, and interested in building a career in the tax resolution industry.

No tax experience is required. We will provide training.

What You'll Do:

The primary responsibility of this position is processing client tax transcript files.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Downloading client files and tax transcripts from our CRM
Uploading tax transcripts and documents into the appropriate systems
Organizing and verifying client files
Making sure documents are uploaded to the correct client account
Following internal procedures to ensure files are processed accurately and efficiently
Completing a high volume of repetitive computer-based tasks throughout the day

This position does not initially require speaking with clients or the IRS.

Growth Opportunity:

This is an entry-level position with an opportunity to grow into a Tax Investigation Agent.

As you become experienced and demonstrate accuracy and reliability, you may be trained to:

Contact the IRS and state taxing authorities
Request and obtain tax transcripts
Update client investigation files
Handle IRS correspondence
Assist with additional tax investigation responsibilities

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid Social Security number
Comfortable working on a computer throughout the day
Strong attention to detail
Able to follow step-by-step procedures
Able to perform repetitive tasks accurately
Reliable and punctual
Basic computer and file-management skills

Tax experience is not required.
