Arthrex is looking for a Repair Technician II to join our team in a role that blends hands-on technical skill with critical diagnostic work. Support the Repair department in the re-assembly, testing, repair and evaluation of medical devices, components, and manufacturing processes in a safe and effective manner. Whether it is disassembling complex components or navigating SAP to track work orders, commitment to Good Document Practices (GDP) and precision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operates a variety of hand-operated tools and electronic equipment to repair product specified on work orders using standard work instructions and inspection procedures.
Performs incoming evaluations and identify failure mode of returned product using a variety of factors.
May support daily product testing by performing FCO (Final Checkout), FCL (Final Check List) and other automated or manual electrical tests.
Tests products using a variety of tools which may include computer programs, Digital Multi Meters, Oscilloscopes, light measurement equipment, digital and analog electrical test equipment.
Record test results and findings into forms or database applications.
Responsible for accessing and following packaging instructions and work instructions from PLM and Document management systems based on product structure requirements.
ERP and Complaints database experience preferred.
Prepares, issues, and kits materials based upon the Repair Work Order Pick List requirements according to work instructions and depart-mental guidelines.
Performs inspection of work completed and documentation to assure correct specifications and functional criteria have been met.
Performs daily cleaning of the work area and initiates “Area Clearance” to maintain material traceability at the workstation.
Performs or initiates required Preventive Maintenance schedules on the equipment and tooling within the repair department.
Support department with internal/external audits and non-conformances (NCRs)
Ensures all departmental procedures and Good Document Practices (GDP) are followed.
Provides department management with input for new products, processes, procedures, and fixture development.
Ability to work on multiple process steps or lines adjusting and reprioritizing work as necessary.
Must accurately transact Service work order data into ERP.
Participate in required company training activities related to products and processes supporting medical device manufacturing.
Maintain and follow electrostatic discharge (ESD) work environment procedures.

Knowledge:

General knowledge and frequent utilization of industry practices, techniques, and standards.

Reasoning and ability:

Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.

Discretion/Latitude:

Work is performed under general direction. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

Skills and Abilities:

Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook) preferred.
Basic knowledge of visual inspection, part handling, component assembly, and barcode scanning required.
Proficient ability to test, troubleshoot, disassemble and repair returned products.
Navigates SAP, Agile and Documentum systems independently.
Basic CNC and bead blasting skills preferred.
Basic laser welding skills and Helium leak check preferred.
Solving simple math equations and the ability to perform tasks through verbal communication.
Adopt an environment of continuous improvement to develop more robust procedures and improvements within existing processes to produce cost effective quality products
Intermediate manual dexterity to assemble electro-mechanical assemblies.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in the medical device industry or similar preferred.
2 Years’ experience working in a fast paced, multilayered work environment required.
