Summary of a VIP Customer Service Advocate

VIP Customer Service Advocate

At Stevens & Associates Insurance, we are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and support to our valued clients. As a VIP Customer Service Advocate, you will be at the forefront of delivering premium customer care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your role will involve handling a variety of tasks, including inbound and outbound calls, assisting with health insurance claims, and supporting clients with Medicare and insurance-related issues. Above all, you'll be ensuring that every client interaction reflects the high standards of service and professionalism we pride ourselves on.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional VIP customer service by managing client inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering timely solutions for insurance claims and coverage issues.
Participate in conference calls to discuss Medicare, insurance, and claims matters, offering clear, actionable insights to resolve client issues.
Return client voicemails promptly and professionally.
Draft and send professional letters and emails to clients, third-party providers, and insurance companies to ensure clear and accurate communication.
Handle up to 30 phone calls per day, maintaining efficiency and a positive client experience.
Assist clients in navigating health insurance systems, including Covered CA and ACA, by providing valuable guidance.
Complete administrative duties, including the processing of essential forms like Blue Sheets, Pink Sheets, and Summary of Accounts (SOA).

Training & Development:

Complete all onboarding documentation within your first week.
Successfully complete the Pre-License Life & Health Insurance Course (fully funded by Stevens & Associates) and pass the state exam within your first three months.
Participate in Client Advocate training, mastering essential skills required for the role.
Gain an in-depth understanding of Medicare, the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), Open Enrollment Period (OEP), and the "Birthday Rule."
Become proficient in using insurance portals and communicating with carriers to address customer service issues.

Qualifications:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must to serve our diverse clientele.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professionalism.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other essential computer programs.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Stay up-to-date with HIPAA regulations, Medicare updates, and health insurance policies.
