Full Job Description

Lead Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Lead Front Desk Agent. The successful candidate will be working on a set schedule and will report to the General Manager who handles all hiring and scheduling. The Lead Front Desk Agent will be responsible for overseeing and training new front desk agents, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel front desk, and providing exceptional customer service to guests.

Required Front Desk Shifts:

3pm-11pm Friday

3pm-11 Saturday

Required Lead Responsibilities :

40 Hours a Week Required

Oversee Guest Experiences

Ensure Overall Guest Happiness

Help Front Desk With Any and All Problems

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, including check-ins/check-outs, reservations, and customer inquiries
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing and resolving customer complaints and inquiries
Oversee, train, and evaluate front desk agents to ensure high-quality service standards are met
Maintain accurate room availability information, manage room assignments and handle special requests from guests
Ensure the front desk is organized and well-stocked with supplies, and that the lobby and front desk areas are clean and presentable
Monitor front desk procedures and systems to ensure efficient and effective operations
Communicate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely
Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

Proven experience as a front desk agent or in a similar customer service role
Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise and train team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work a set schedule
Familiarity with basic computer systems and applications, such as Microsoft Office and hotel management software
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service-related certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
