Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and managing marketing and outreach strategies to promote Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services. This role focuses on increasing brand awareness, driving referrals, strengthening relationships with referral sources, and supporting census growth while maintaining compliance with healthcare, ethical, and HIPAA standards. The ideal candidate understands healthcare marketing, family-centered services, and community-based outreach, particularly within autism and developmental disability services.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing & Brand Development

Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with company growth goals and service areas
Maintain consistent branding across all marketing materials, platforms, and outreach efforts
Assist in market research to identify service gaps, referral trends, and competitive positioning
Track marketing performance metrics and prepare regular reports on lead generation and conversion

Referral & Community Outreach

Build and maintain relationships with referral sources including:
Pediatricians and medical offices
Regional Centers
School districts and special education teams
Social workers, case managers, and psychologists
Coordinate in-person and virtual outreach efforts such as presentations, community events, and open houses
Represent the company professionally at conferences, resource fairs, and community meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Experience (healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms
Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
Experience marketing ABA therapy, behavioral health, or special needs services
Knowledge of autism services, Regional Center systems, and insurance-based service models
Experience with community outreach and referral development
Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
Bilingual (preferred but not required)
