Hours: 7am-3:30 PM Monday to Friday
Los Angeles Skills Academy (LASA) is hiring a full-time CNA Clinical Instructor (LVN or RN) in Santa Barbara, California.
This is a clinical-only CNA Instructor position. No classroom teaching or lectures required. The CNA Clinical Instructor will supervise CNA students in approved clinical sites and provide hands-on skills instruction, evaluation, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities (Clinical Instructor – CNA Program)
- Supervise CNA students during clinical rotations
- Provide hands-on CNA skills instruction in a clinical setting
- Demonstrate infection control, patient care, and CNA skills
- Evaluate CNA student performance per CDPH clinical requirements
- Ensure patient safety and professional conduct
- Complete clinical evaluations and documentation
Work closely with program leadership regarding student progress

Required Qualifications
- Current LVN or RN license (California)
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience
- At least 1 year experience with elderly or chronically ill patients
- (Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Hospital, Hospice, or Assisted Living)
- DSD Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Meets California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements for CNA Clinical Instructors
