Wage Scale
$25 - $35 per hour.

As a Private Events Chef, you are responsible for organizing food preparation, and supervising service for catered events. You manage kitchen staff, ensure JOEY standards are met, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Duties

Special event planning and execution.

Organize food preparation and supervise service for events.

Oversee the work of the private events kitchen team.

Collaborate with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.

Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds. Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadership immediately.

Utilize various preparation and cooking methods to ensure the quick, precise creation of our menu items in accordance with JOEY recipes. Coordinate with other stations as needed.

Follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures.
Basic Qualifications

1-3+ years culinary experience (If you have high potential but less experience, we still want to meet you!).

Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler certifications.

Possess a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of creating world-class hospitality experiences.

Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
