CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Ten-month position: anticipated starting date August 14, 2026 (start date not negotiable)
- Initial Salary Placement on Academic Salary Schedule C is dependent on education and experience. Salary range is from: $79,308-$126,084 (adjusted for 12 months of pay per year). - Part of the teaching assignment may be evenings and/or weekends at all District sites.
- The instructor may be expected to deliver instruction utilizing nontraditional delivery methods.

2. Do you possess a bachelor’s degree or higher plus two years of full-time equivalent professional experience in experience in engineering, manufacturing/ industrial technology, or closely related field, or the equivalent? If yes, submit applicable transcript (front/back)

4. Do you possess a Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) Structural Steel Welder Certification? If yes, submit a copy of the valid, unexpired certificate.

9. Describe your experience working independently and as part of a team in finding solutions to complex problems.
IN PERSON PERFORMANCE WELDING TEST (FOR FINALISTS ONLY):
Applicants will be required to perform the following tests:
1.Complete a steel 3G 3/8” plate test using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
2.Complete a steel 3F ¼” plate test using Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW-S).
3.Complete an aluminum 3F 1/8” sheet test using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).
4.Complete a steel 3F 3/8” plate test using Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW-GS)
NOTE: Applicant to provide their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and sign a medical waiver prior to the testing.
