We are Santa Fe’s first and only Life Plan Community, offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, and intermediate nursing care on one beautifully maintained campus.

What You’ll Do
As a Charge Nurse at El Castillo, you’ll play a key role in delivering compassionate, professional nursing care to our residents across a range of care levels. Responsibilities include:

Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders and care plans
Monitoring residents’ health and responding to changes in condition
Collaborating with RNs, LPNs, CNAs, providers, and families to ensure comprehensive care
Providing leadership and supervision to CNAs and assisting with delegation and care coordination
Documenting care accurately and in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, state and federal regulations.

What You Bring

Current RN license in good standing with the New Mexico Board of Nursing
CPR certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire, available and provided onsite if needed)
Commitment to resident safety, dignity, and well-being
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative care environment

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with MatrixCare health records (EHR)
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
3 years experience in long-term care, skilled nursing or assisting living OR 2 years nursing leadership or supervisory role.
