SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Account Manager will coordinate the activities of merchandisers in the stores he/she calls on while coordinating with the Front Line Manager regarding the merchandisers. Will generate orders in person and service all small and large format accounts.
This area encompasses the towns of Pojoaque, Los Alamos, White Rock, Penasco, Hernandez, Dixon, Sipapu, and Chama. This position is responsible for all aspects of the sales and merchandising of their assigned territory. The ideal candidate will reside within the assigned sales territory.
This position requires significant physical activity. You must be comfortable with both physical work and technology use. Account Managers handle digital tasks daily.
Applicants must be at least 22 years of age due to insurance requirements.
Will be assigned a cell phone and iPad will be provided.
This position is eligible for a quarterly incentive payout in accordance with the company's performance and incentive guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Service all small and large format accounts in their proper sequence.
- Sell and forecast accurately the products and packages needed for each account assigned.
- Understand and implement Picos, big bets, and MSC in all outlets, execute weekly.
- Understanding of merchandising standards and look of success for each outlet.
- Work closely with LSSM to accelerate sales in outlets and communicate any issues.
- Emails and voicemails must be reviewed daily.
- Work with store managers or directors to execute authorized promotions according to required promotions.
- Understand and present customer agreements to solidify Coca Cola position in independent accounts.
- Responsible for generating a weekly merchandising schedule and communicating with the Front Line Manager.
- Increase distribution and sales of all products and packages. Introduction of new products and placements of these products.
- Secure the best possible selling position for our products in each account. Displays, coolers racks, etc.
- Establish customer rapport on all levels of account management and maintain a friendly business relationship.
- Regularly merchandise all corporate products, including re-stocking to avoid out-of-stock situations, rotating stock, ensure back-room tidiness. Ensure pricing and "point-of-sale" (P.O.S.) material are at key points- of- purchase to stimulate sales. Distribute P.O.S. materials as needed.
- Check and stock all coolers. Report any service-related issues immediately to the Service department. This will include vending machines, coolers and fountain equipment.
- Maintain a balanced store inventory of full products and packages in all selling areas.
- Maintain accurate sales records using eoTouch selling platform for all assigned accounts.
- Recommend space-to-sales adjustment to store management as necessary. Report any changes to sets to the Space Manager.
- Maintain a good working relationship with Front Line Manager and merchandisers. Assist in training merchandisers in a positive, constructive manner.
- Attend all sales meetings and trainings required by management.
- Drive assigned vehicle in accordance with state and city laws.
- Responsible for all pre-trip inspections of company assigned vehicle.
- Responsible for cleanliness and care of company vehicle.
- Responsible for scheduled maintenances of company vehicle.
- Responsible for company issued cell phone.
- Responsible for company laptop, uniform and any other equipment assigned by company.
Minimum Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent experience. Equivalent years of related work experience will be considered.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Computer proficient (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
