Full Job Description

Mountain Spirit Integrative Medicine seeks a highly experienced FULL TIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT Staff member with proven competency and past success. Hours: 40 Hours Per Week (FT).

Mountain Spirit is a highly awarded integrative medical company with 3 locations seeking motivated medical administrative Staff interested in long-term careers. We offer an extraordinary base pay, 401k and benefits package. Opportunity for review with potential pay increase on anniversary. WEEKDAYS Needed with Possible SATURDAY inclusive shifts PRN. Successful past experience with longevity in directly relevant position(s) REQUIRED. Experience in the full range of Medical Assisting duties is required. Interviews to be scheduled immediately.

Required Duties Include:

*Sending Providers’ Orders: Prescriptions, Labs, Imaging, Specialist Referrals

*Patient Communications: Directions, Scheduling Followup

*Rooming patients, taking vitals, preparing EHR Chart for Providers

*Primary Care and Women’s Health procedure assisting, including setup and cleanup

*Preparing Daily Materials for Providers

*Cleaning Instruments, Running Autoclave and maintaining Autoclave

Day-to-day coordination of our Clinical work, including:
*Welcoming patients into Clinic
*Ensuring our patients have a comfortable, respectful experience
*Scheduling patients, before and after treatments as needed
*Receiving and returning phone calls from prospective patients, fellow professionals, and the general public.
*Checking insurance benefits. Accurately assessing benefits in order to collect payments. Completing daily reconciliation of payments received.
*Communicating accurate information to our patients, staff, and providers in a timely manner
*Other assignments that may arise related to these work duties.

Schedule:

40 Hours Per Week, Full Time, In Person Position.

Required skills:

*Highly experienced Medical Assistant needed

*High degree of detail-orientation, self-motivation, and organizational skills

*Excellent customer service skills

*Excellent ability to complete tasks, while multi-tasking within a busy clinic environment

*Exemplify excellence in both written and verbal communication
*Respectful, productive communication with employer / management, fellow staff, providers, patients, insurance companies & their agents
*Enjoy working with and serving the full diversity of our community
*Demonstrate reasonable longevity in past work experience

*Experience with Mac and PC computers. Knowledge of web-based medical practice management database(s).
*Typing speed: 50WPM accurately (may be tested)

Candidates with the following skills and abilities are encouraged to apply (preferred but not required):
*Bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish.
* CMA Certification

PAY, BENEFITS & LEAVE:
$20.00 - $25.00 hourly. Depending on education, experience, and demonstrated skills. Higher pay range considered for those with proven success/longevity in other Medical Offices. Incredible benefits package worth up to $5 hourly - worth 10k annually, beginning at 3 months.

Extraordinary Benefits Package Includes:
*2 weeks Personal Time Off leave annually based on full-time work in first year.
*3 weeks PTO beginning of 3rd year; 4 weeks at 4 years; 5 weeks at 5 years.
*Paid Major Holidays
*Delta Dental + Platinum or Gold Group Health Plan (Year 2026 is Platinum BCBS Plan with $250 Deductible! $2500 Out of Pocket Maximum!)
Company pays 70% of Premiums for enrolled Employees; 30% for any enrolled Dependents).
NOTE: Health Insurance Plan begins 3 full months after start date.
*401K with dollar for dollar matching up to 6% of salary. Profit Sharing potential at end of each calendar year, up to 5% of Salary (at company’s sole discretion). NOTE: Option to enroll begins 6 full months after start date.
*Fitness Benefit: Up to $60 monthly, gym / exercise of your choice
*Treatment Benefit: At least 2 FREE treatments monthly (Choose from Massage / Acupuncture)
