We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Complaint Intake and Data Entry Clerk to support a high-volume complaint intake department and Data Entry Clerk (Temporary). This is NOT a remote position, it’s in-office in Santa Fe, NM.

Position Summary
This position is responsible for accurately entering complaints and facility reported incidents into the department's database system. Reports may contain allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation and require a high degree of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
The Complaint Intake and Data Entry Clerk will work closely with the Complaint Intake Coordinators, who are responsible for reviewing and triaging reports. This position focuses solely on the timely and accurate data entry of incoming reports and does not participate in the investigation or evaluation process.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter complaint reports and facility-reported incidents into the department's database system.

Process a high volume of reports in a timely manner (approximately 1,500–1,800 reports received each month).

Review documents for completeness and ensure information is entered correctly.

Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive and protected information.

Organize and prioritize workload to meet daily productivity goals.

Identify incomplete or missing information and notify appropriate staff when necessary.

Maintain data integrity by ensuring consistent and accurate record entry.

Perform general administrative and clerical duties assigned.

Follow department policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Five (5) years of data entry, administrative support, clerical, or office experience preferred.

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Excellent keyboarding and data entry accuracy.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Ability to work independently while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Previous experience in healthcare, government, regulatory, or human services environment.
