About the Role

We are seeking a Pre‑Weigher / Mixer / Backup Compounder to support our manufacturing team by accurately weighing raw materials, preparing batches, operating mixing equipment, and assisting compounders as needed. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and essential to ensuring consistent, high‑quality production.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately weigh and stage raw materials according to batch cards and manufacturing procedures
Load materials into mixers and blending equipment, ensuring proper sequencing and safe handling
Monitor mixing processes, make basic adjustments, and communicate issues to the lead compounder
Assist compounders with batching, processing, testing, and adjustments as needed
Follow all approved manufacturing protocols, including SOPs, batch cards, departmental rules, and regulatory requirements
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move raw materials, drums, totes, and finished product
Maintain clean and organized work areas, including cleaning tanks, lines, pumps, utensils, and equipment
Submit samples to Quality Control and hold batches until approval is received
Complete logs, batch records, and documentation accurately and thoroughly
Support inventory counts, raw material organization, and general production workflow

Qualifications

High School diploma
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, chemical handling, mixing, or related industrial work
Ability to read and follow batch cards, SOPs, and measurement instructions
Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, moving materials, and working around industrial equipment
Forklift experience preferred
Strong attention to detail, safety, and accuracy
