The Human Resources Generalist is a trusted partner who supports the employee experience throughout the full employment lifecycle. Essential Functions

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities.
Develop and post employment advertisements.
Screen applicants and coordinate interviews.
Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
Facilitate pre-employment processes including Live Scan, I-9 verification, reference checks, and onboarding.
Conduct new employee orientation.

Employee Relations

Serve as a trusted Human Resources resource for employees and supervisors.
Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
Promote a positive and respectful workplace culture.
Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives.

Compliance & Human Resources Administration

Maintain confidential personnel records.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Track mandatory certifications, licenses, and required training.
Assist with policy development and implementation.
Prepare reports, organizational charts, and HR metrics.
Maintain knowledge of California employment law and HR best practices.

Leave Administration & Workers' Compensation

Coordinate employee leaves of absence.
Administer Workers' Compensation documentation and claims.
Assist employees with benefits administration.
Support ADA Interactive Process activities under the Director of Human Resources.

Learning & Organizational Development

Coordinate employee training.
Facilitate onboarding.
Assist in leadership development initiatives.
Create training materials.
Support organizational development programs.

Human Resources Operations

Conduct Management by Walking Around (MBWA) at FACT locations.
Participate in organizational initiatives and HR projects.
Maintain confidentiality.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employee Relations, Accounting, or related field.

Experience

Minimum two years of Professional Human Resources experience.
Employee Relations experience required
Recruitment experience required.
California employment law knowledge required

Occasionally travel between FACT offices and program locations.

Work Environment

This position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring work Remotely in addition to the Century City Corporate Office and other FACT satellite offices. There is occasional travel to FACT program sites and community locations.
