Full Job Description

Audiology Associates, a privately-owned independent Audiology practice in Santa Rosa, CA since 1984, is seeking an Audiologist to partner with our team. We have been helping physicians, allied health, nursing providers, and other organizations, by restoring people lives through better hearing through hearing loss prevention, medical functional hearing evaluations and most recently ear to brain rehabilitative services. The ideal candidate is someone who works well independently as well as in a team environment and desires to develop and execute a career path that benefits the growth and development of the clinic as well as their individual professional goals. The Audiologist will be responsible for hearing health evaluations for patients of all ages, by providing Functional Hearing Assessments, including Adaptation, Assistive technology, Active Listening and AfterCare (MA5P Method). The qualified individual will perform all diagnostic testing, Hearing Aid fittings, follow-up care, as well as counseling and education of the patient according to Best Practices. We are also looking for individuals that have experience in VNGs, ABRs, and cognitive issues.

Main Job Functions:

Provides excellent customer care and excellent patient relations.
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic functional hearing evaluations/Balance screenings
Executes a treatment plan using thorough counseling and education incorporating the MA5P Method protocol/ Processing Speed screenings
Tinnitus evaluation and management, VNGs, ABRs.
Assist in clinical administrative functions including phone calls, documentation, reporting, tracking, etc.
Involved in physician outreach, including community events, lunch and learns, health fairs, teaching at local universities, in-office education classes, etc. Take ownership of your schedule with 1 such activity per month
Maintain confidentiality of all business, patient information, and proprietary processes.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.

You will need:

Education: Masters or Doctorate in Audiology
Active CA Dispensing license or eligible for licensure
Strong leadership, and communication skills
Positive energy, self-starter, team player
Problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive Salary plus commission plan (cash balance and profit sharing) and Retirement Plan
Paid time off, holidays, CME time
Benefits include medical, dental and vision. (healthcare is paid 90% by the practice).
