Aya Healthcare has an exciting Patient Services Representative contract opportunity in Santa Rosa, CA!

Job Details:

JOB TITLE: Patient Services Representative

CONTRACT DURATION: 2 Months – Possibility of extension based on attendance, performance, and facility need, etc.

WORK LOCATION: Santa Rosa, CA

PAY: 25-26/hr

SHIFT: Full Time | Onsite

7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
Possible 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. midshift

ONBOARDING TIME: Expect 2–3 weeks between offer to start date

EQUIPMENT: All equipment provided

Job Description and Requirements:

The Patient Services Representative supports front-office operations within outpatient flu and TB clinics by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an efficient patient registration experience. This role is responsible for greeting patients, completing registration and check-in, verifying demographic information and required documentation, updating electronic medical records, and supporting smooth clinic operations.

The ideal candidate has experience with patient registration, front-office administrative functions, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-facing healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional registration experience

· Complete patient registration, check-in, and demographic verification

· Verify required documentation for appointments and services

· Update patient information accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) system

· Communicate registration requirements and appointment information clearly to patients

· Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient records

· Support front-office administrative workflows and daily clinic operations

· Identify and resolve missing or inconsistent registration information

· Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow

· Answer patient questions and provide exceptional customer service

· Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational confidentiality standards

· Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

· Experience with front-office administrative processes and patient registration required

· Experience with patient check-in and demographic verification required

· Customer service experience in a patient-facing or public-facing environment required

· Ability to verify documentation accurately and completely

· Experience using electronic medical record systems or similar registration platforms

· Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment

· Ability to maintain accurate and confidential patient information

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience in an outpatient clinic or ambulatory care setting

· Experience supporting flu clinics, TB clinics, vaccination clinics, or seasonal health programs

· Familiarity with healthcare registration workflows

· Experience managing high-volume patient check-in

Requirements (due at time of phone screen with recruiter):

· Resume with last seven years of work history if applicable - all work history gaps of 90+ days must be explained

· Upcoming requested time off for the duration of the contract

· Interview availability for the next 7–10 days

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
