Full Job Description

Position: Pastry Chef
Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a talented and dependable Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, has strong attention to detail, and can consistently produce high-quality desserts and pastry items in a professional kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute desserts, pastries, breads, and other pastry items to our standards
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, portioning, and quality
Assist with developing seasonal desserts and new menu items
Complete daily prep and production efficiently and on schedule
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pastry station
Properly rotate, label, store, and manage ingredients and finished products
Monitor inventory and communicate ordering and production needs
Minimize waste while maintaining high quality standards
Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures

Qualifications

Professional pastry or baking experience preferred
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert production
Excellent attention to detail and presentation
Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
