Full Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties

· Assist multiple office locations with coordinating and supporting the recruitment and hiring process for care providers, including scheduling interviews and maintaining candidate pipelines

· Regular, in-person attendance at the assigned work location is an essential function of this position to support effective collaboration, coordination with internal teams, and execution of recruiting activities

· Maintain accurate applicant and new hire records in PHIL

· Provide a professional and responsive experience to all applicants to support a positive candidate experience

· Communicate with applicants regarding application status, interview scheduling, and next steps

· Complete reference checks and/or employment verifications as part of the hiring process

· Review applications and screen candidates based on minimum qualifications and job requirements

· Send professional decline notifications to candidates not selected for employment

· Support onboarding by ensuring completion of Form I-9, preparing care provider identification badges, and registering new hires for required training

· Conduct and/or coordinate fingerprinting for background checks in accordance with regulatory requirements

· Travel and drive to various locations to meet with applicants and support recruiting and hiring activities

o Pacific Homecare Services reasonably expects driving to be an essential job function. An alternative form of transportation is not comparable in travel time or cost to the company.

· Support job postings and recruitment efforts, including job boards and outreach initiatives

· Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and community events

· Maintain confidentiality of our clients and our care providers in compliance with HIPAA

· Attend quarterly staff meetings and monthly department meetings

· Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Prior experience in recruiting, staffing, or administrative support preferred

· Experience in home care or healthcare settings is a plus

· Ability to manage multiple priorities across different locations

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to evaluate candidates and make sound judgments

· High level of adaptability and flexibility

· Basic computer skills and experience with HR systems preferred

· Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred but not mandatory

Physical & Work Requirements

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

·Ability to work in an in-office environment as an essential function of the role, with regular in-person collaboration

Ability to travel between office locations, hiring events, and community sites as needed

To be eligible to drive on behalf of Pacific Homecare Services, whether operating a company vehicle or a personal vehicle for business-related purposes, employees must complete a driver authorization form permitting PHS to obtain and review their Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), maintain a valid California Driver’s License for at least three (3) years, and

be at least 21 years of age.

MVR Standards

Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) will be reviewed periodically for all employees whose job duties include driving. Continued eligibility to operate a company vehicle is contingent upon maintaining a driving record that meets PHS standards.

Employees may be disqualified from driving on behalf of PHS if any of the following apply within the past three (3) years at any point of their employment:

Three (3) or more traffic violations and/or at-fault accidents
One or more of the following types of serious traffic convictions within the past 3 years: Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol or refusal to submit to a BAC test
Leaving the scene of an accident or failure to report an accident
Reckless or careless driving convictions
License suspension, revocation, or administrative restriction
Vehicular homicide, manslaughter, or assault
Use of a vehicle in the commission of a felony
Racing or speed contests
Passing a stopped school bus
Attempting to elude law enforcement
Possession of a controlled substance involving a vehicle
Making a false accident report
Operating a vehicle without authorization or while unlicensed
Three (3) or more company vehicle damage claims within a 12-month period
Any other criminal use of a motor vehicle
