Full Job Description

Overview
Insurance defense law firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal for their San Diego office . The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in various legal tasks, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with relevant laws. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a thorough understanding of legal procedures. The Paralegal will work closely with clients and attorneys.

Duties

Conduct document review to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Assist in interviewing clients and witnesses to gather necessary information for cases.
Manage legal documents using document management systems
Support attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by organizing case files and exhibits.
Maintain effective communication with clients, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Utilize legal case management software to track case progress and deadlines.
Research relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case preparation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the law office.

Requirements

Paralegal certificate or equivalent
3 years previous experience
Superior time management.
Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
Knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure, California State Court rules and procedures
Ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Must be able to investigate, document and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
