Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Operating Room Staff member (scrub tech) where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional surgical care within a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a skilled plastic surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient operative procedures. Your expertise in patient care, surgical assistance, and medical equipment operation will directly contribute to positive patient outcomes and the overall success of our surgical services. We are committed to fostering a collaborative atmosphere that values safety, precision, and compassionate care.

Duties

Assist surgeon during a wide range of plastic surgery procedures.
Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments, medical equipment, and supplies in accordance with infection control protocols.
Operate medical equipment safely and effectively.
Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection prevention protocols to minimize healthcare-associated infections.

Qualifications

Prior experience working in hospital environments with exposure to medical-surgical units, or ambulatory surgery centers.
Proficiency in operating medical equipment and understanding sterilization processes for surgical instruments.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are advantageous.
Excellent understanding of infection control practices including aseptic technique and healthcare infection prevention measures.
