Full Job Description

Overview

The Medical Assistant / Cosmetic Coordinator plays a vital role in both the clinical and administrative aspects of our cosmetic practice. This individual will coordinate patient consultations and procedures, assist providers during treatments, manage scheduling, maintain accurate documentation, and help create an exceptional patient experience.

This position also requires travel to one other office in Englewood.

Cosmetic Coordination

Respond promptly to cosmetic inquiries by phone, email, and text.
Schedule cosmetic consultations and treatment appointments.
Educate prospective patients on available services, treatment options, and pricing (within established guidelines).
Follow up with consultation leads to encourage treatment scheduling.
Coordinate procedure schedules and maintain provider calendars.
Help achieve practice goals through excellent patient communication and service.

Medical Assisting

Prepare exam and procedure rooms before and after patient visits.
Assist providers during cosmetic procedures and treatments.
Obtain patient histories and document information accurately in the EMR.
Take standardized before-and-after clinical photographs.
Prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
Provide patients with pre- and post-procedure instructions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Proven experience in medical office settings with knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or medication administration are a plus.
Strong understanding of medical documentation standards, and medical records management.
Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality care standards.

Working Hours are as follows:

Every other Mondays - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Tuesday-Thursday - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

No Fridays, weekends or evenings
