Full Job Description

Lumine Academy is a well-established children’s art school located in Cupertino, offering structured, high-quality art programs for young learners. We are seeking a Front Desk & Enrollment Consultant to join our team. This role plays an important part in supporting enrollment and daily operations, and serves as a key point of contact for families.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Parent Communication & Front Desk Support

Serve as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and prospective families
Address questions related to class schedules, policies, make-up classes, and general school operations
Communicate with parents in a calm, patient, and professional manner, both in person and in writing
Help resolve minor concerns and escalate issues appropriately when needed
Ensure a welcoming, organized, and professional front desk environment at all times

2. Enrollment Consultation

Welcome walk-in families and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Clearly explain Lumine Academy’s programs, age-based levels, curriculum structure, and teaching philosophy
Assess each child’s age, background, and experience to recommend appropriate classes or trial options
Assist families with class scheduling.
Guide families through the trial class booking process and follow up after trials when needed
Support parents with registration, billing questions, and basic account setup
Maintain accurate enrollment records and update student and schedule information as needed

3. Team Collaboration & Daily Operations

Work closely with instructors and management to ensure smooth daily operations
Coordinate class rosters, attendance updates, and schedule changes with the teaching team
Support special events, open houses, or seasonal programs as needed
Assist with administrative tasks and follow established procedures to maintain operational efficiency
Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork during busy periods

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail
Patient, reliable, and highly organized
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, family-focused environment
Prior experience in education, enrollment, front desk, sales, or customer service is a plus
Candidates must be available to work weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 35 per week
