We're looking for a full-time or part-time front store counter staff/barista. This person will be versatile and passionate about serving customers.

Join our vibrant team as a Front of House Team Member, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our customers! As a key player in our café or retail environment, you will deliver exceptional customer service, prepare and serve high-quality beverages and food, and ensure smooth daily operations. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will be instrumental in creating a lively, efficient, and customer-focused environment.

Key qualifications:

Strive in fast-paced production environment and works efficiently to meet the speed of service deadlines.
Highest standards and consistency in food preparation, sanitation and safety.
Able to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
Show respects for the equipment and facilities by adhering to cleaning and proper operations.
Provide ultimate hospitality and make sure guests have everything they need to enjoy their visit and the bakery is fully stocked and cleaned.
Must be 18+ due to job duties involving equipment and scheduling requirements
Experienced as a barista in a fast-paced café highly preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café or retail space, including food handling and food safety practices
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards
Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures

Skills

Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles within cafés or retail environments
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction balancing
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
