Full Job Description

Job Title: CNC Programmer

** THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION, ONLY APPLICATIONS WITH EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE SHOULD APPLY **

Duties:
- Develop and write programs for CNC machines based on engineering drawings and specifications through mastercam 2026
- Occasionally set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize machining processes
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC programs or machine operations
- Maintain documentation of programming changes and updates

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC programmer or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Proficiency in mastercam and fusion 360
- Solid understanding of geometry, schematics, and mathematical calculations related to machining processes
- Familiarity with various tooling used in CNC machining
