Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IR Technologist to support the growth of our fast-paced Special Procedures Lab.

Job Duties:

First assisting the surgeons during cases
Operating the c-arm (within the scope of practice), circulating during the case, and monitoring patients
Imaging the procedure and indexing images in the patient's chart
Working closely with the clinical team to care for patients
Assisting in the performance of various invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including but not limited to diagnostic angiograms, myelograms, kyphoplasty and lumbar punctures.
Preparing and positioning patient for diagnostic imaging procedures
Adjusting immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician
Preparing images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician
Completing forms and maintains records, logs and reports of work performed

Qualifications/Skills:

Must have at least a 2-year degree in Associates of Applied Science of Radiology Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology (CV) or Vascular-Interventional Radiology certification, preferred
BLS, required
ACLS, required
Experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab or Special Procedures, preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.25 - $35.66 per hour
