Full Job Description

Front Desk Patient Coordinator

Compass Dental is a restorative and cosmetic family practice. Dr. Fana and his team have been working twenty plus years to bring quality work and friendly smiles to the community! Our practice is open Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 6 PM, however your shift may vary in this time period. We are currently operating on the Open Dental software system.

We are looking for a patient coordinator to join our front desk team. You will be the first point of contact for our office, which means you will be our first impression. We are looking for someone who is a dependable team player with a passion for patient care. MUST have prior dental experience, at least 2 years is preferred. Computer proficiency skills are a necessity for this position. It is a full-time position at the front desk which means basic reception knowledge is a necessary skill. If you find that you have an attention to detail and are compassionate with patient interactions, this job could be for you.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly, help them fill out forms, and advise them of office policies and patient care procedures
Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments and make reminder phone calls
Collection patient payments as needed
Dental insurance verifications prior to patient appointments

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
At least 2 years of experience in dental office
Possess high-level communication skills, problem-solving, organization, and exceptional customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
