6am - 3pm (Overtime required as needed)

Job Summary

Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for ensuring production standards are met and maintained for products before they leave the facility. This is achieved by continuously evaluating the product through highly accurate inspection, reporting and recording of deficiencies found.

Duties and responsibilities:

Support quality initiatives for the Hyundai and Kia product lines.
Provide quality assurance support to the Hyundai and Kia door module, latch, and other platforms.
Provide shop floor support to quality assurance specialists and production by accurately reporting and recording quality issues.
Travels to customer locations to address quality issues when necessary.
Coordinates the containment of defective material.
Maybe assigned to perform incoming inspection of components.
Maybe assigned to perform some production support duties.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Required skills:
At least one year’s experience in a production environment.

Physical demands in work environment:

Continually stand or walk >90% of work time.
Frequently lift and or move up to 30 lbs.
The work area is heat/air conditioned within an office environment, with 100% of the time spent in a shop floor environment.
