We’re seeking a PRN Hospice Nurse (LPN or RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in their homes. Whether you're a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Registered Nurse (RN), we invite you to bring your skills and compassion to a team that treats patients—and each other—like family.

What You’ll Do

Deliver direct, hands-on nursing care to hospice patients based on an individualized plan of care
Follow the direction of the Hospice RN Case Manager to support optimal symptom control and quality of life
Provide accurate and timely documentation of services rendered
Educate patients and families on disease progression, symptom management, and caregiving techniques
Communicate changes in condition and patient needs to the interdisciplinary team
Coordinate with hospice aides, social workers, therapists, chaplains, and other team members
Ensure proper use of medical equipment and maintain infection control standards
Support patients and families with empathy, dignity, and professionalism

What We’re Looking For

Current LPN or RN license in the state of Missouri (or compact state)
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience preferred (hospice or home health experience a plus)
Ability to provide compassionate care and communicate clearly with patients and families
Strong organizational and time management skills
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
Familiarity with hospice philosophy and the unique needs of the terminally ill
