Full Job Description

NXGen Fitness Center in Scarborough, ME is hiring for a Part-Time Front Desk Staff Position. We are looking for 2-3 people to add to our team who are friendly, outgoing, hard working, reliable and has a very flexible schedule. The position will get 10-20 hours per week with opportunities for more hours and shifts. We are looking for candidates that can fulfill our 6am-1pm shift and 1-8pm shift during week days.

Responsibilities:

Welcoming new and current members into the facility
Conducting tours of the facility with prospective members
Signing up new members by having them fill out the proper paperwork and collecting payments
Renewing memberships by having the member fill out the proper paperwork and collecting payments
Navigating the membership software to assist members with their accounts
Booking clients into classes and selling class packages
Up-selling clients on extra services that we offer
Selling point-of-sale product
Take and fulfill smoothie bar orders
Answering the phone and giving information to prospective members with questions over the phone
Cleaning the equipment, locker rooms, main floor and front desk area
Conducting laundry for our towel service

Requirements:

Very flexible schedule and reliable
Must be available to work week day morning and/or evening
Must be available to work week days from 6am-1pm and/or 1-8pm
Ability to navigate computer software systems
Ability to problem solve and handle periods of very busy customer interactions
Experience handling money/processing payments
Customer Service experience
Team player and positive working attitude
High School Diploma or equivalent

Compensation:

Starting pay at $17.00/hr
Free gym membership for yourself
Half off a gym membership for 1 family member
